1.       Dry heat cooking method:-

Dry heat cooking is what its name implies, it includes no moisture, steam, water, or any other liquid is needed. In this technique, heat is transferred to the food either by directly exposing it to the flame or by blowing it with heated air in preheated chamber or by exposing it to vapors. Baking, roasting, grilling and steaming fall under this category.

 

2.       Moist heat cooking method: -

Moist-heat cooking method uses water, liquid, or steam to transfer heat to the food. This technique includes boiling, poaching/simmering, frying and stewing. Boiling is one of the most important methods of Moist Heat Cooking and is most appropriate for hard, dry foods like grain or beans.

 

3.       Combination cooking method: -

 In this cooking technique the methods that fall under this group uses the virtue of both the above mentioned methods. Basting and barbecuing are the most commonly used method of this category.

 

4.       Anti-grilled: -

In this technique, the flat metal surface generates localized heat, which is perfect for cooking everything from pancakes to grilled cheese. But the anti-griddle instead relies on cool air to create a slew of decadent desserts.
